Masbia Needs Volunteers for our Thanksgiving Meal (11/23 & 11/24)
OUR THANKSGIVING VOLUNTEER SLOTS ARE ALL BOOKED UP! We still need all the help you are willing to give. Please consider becoming a virtual volunteer by visiting our donate page and getting others to donate as well. Or, schedule a volunteer shift for after the Thanksgiving holiday.
If you would like to volunteer to help with our Thanksgiving on November 23rd and/or November 24th, we would like you to schedule it as soon as possible. We will have a number of volunteer opportunities that will include regular kitchen prep, such as cleaning, peeling and chopping vegetables, as well as opportunities to table local supermarkets with information about Food Stamp Enrollment.
We at Masbia need your help serving emergency food all year round, but since we expect to have an abundance of volunteers in this few day period, we are thinking of dividing up into groups to table and leaflet for Food Stamp enrollment. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be available to volunteer Nov. 23rd & 24th, and what you would prefer to do, prepare and servethe food, or table with information on access to food and Food Stamps, or a bit of both.
