For the families who pick up emergency food packages at Masbia, proteins are the most sought after items. From the beginning, we knew the biggest challenge for people in need was to get sufficient kosher protein, therefore we started as a dinner program. As we expanded into raw food distribution, the most sought after item has been chicken. That’s why we distribute over half a million dollars worth of chicken a year. That still falls 50% short of where we want to be. Please act now and make sure no family goes without chicken.
