As you can imagine, feeding people in need across three locations keeps us in constant need of resources. This Thanksgiving, two synagogues, one on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and the other in Great Neck, will be hosting food pack-a-thons to help Masbia meet the ongoing demand.

Congregation Shearith Israel (the Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue), located along the parade route, has been running this annual Thanksgiving pack-a-thon for several years. It was even featured on CNN last year, and on CBS in 2024 and 2023. The event will take place from 9:00–11:00 AM. For more information or to register, please visit their website here.
