Oven Roasted Rutabaga Recipe by Masbia Chef Jordana Hirschel

Oven Roasted Rutabaga:

1 large Rutabaga, peeled and diced into approx. 1inch cubes

3 Tablespoons of Oil

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Toss diced rutabaga with oil, salt, and pepper. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes or until lightly golden and cooked through.

*TIP*

To peel rutabaga: Do not attempt to peel rutabaga with a peeler. Use a sharp knife and a sturdy board. Slice off the top and bottom of the root vegetable. Then with your knife peel from top to bottom.
